    Thanks Joe

    Another unique brush!

    Nice to see more Fatips popping up here and there!

    Looks like a good one Joe.

    Do you head shavers put after shave on your domes too? It makes sense I guess. Just never thought about it...

    Thanks Chris. I've come to the conclusion that I'm eventually going to own all or most of the Bay Rum options out there...

    That's cool, no idea how many are out there, but always good to have these on the shortlist for Birthdays and Christmas.

    ( Unless you sign up with Rumaholics Anonymous first ! ;) )

    I only have 2 Rum ASL atm but do like the lingering strong scent during the day more than the Colognes and EdP I currently have. Kind of addictive.

    Hope you are recovering quickly Scott

    Prep = Tap Water Prep and Tabac
    Soap = SV Felce Aromatica
    Brush = Omega Black Hi-Brush synthetic
    Bowl = Cheap deep white plastic bowl
    Razor = Gillette Aristocrat
    Blade = Feather (3), binned
    Passes = 3 +
    Post = Usual + PR Rinfrescante
    Scent = Bulgari
    Damage = none

    Score = 9+
    Comments = not a brush I have used much or liked much, but it out worked fine. Almost-dry loaded from the puck ~ 60 swirls, didn’t seem like enough but the lather was bountiful, adding water it just kept on growing. This soap really is deceptive, one really needs very little to get great a lather. Keen to try this with different brushes. Feather day 3 did the job nicely enough. The soap and razor combo have a completely different “feel” on the skin to, hmmm, let’s say a Flare tip and a Sterling. Very little ATG needed for a successful shave

    Hope your Mondays turn out fine!

    Thank you and that's me as well Chris. I have a very good (sometimes too good) sense of smell. Strong cologne fragrances are too much for me. Even the lightest spritz will be on my nerves in a few hours. I strongly prefer the citrus and more natural scents like Bay Rum...

    Looks like a great shave Chris. The SV soaps are supposed to be really good! It's my above mentioned aversion to heavy scents that has kept me from trying one...

    Fine shave this morning. The WTX soap is working its way to the bottom of the jar. I didn't think it was that far down. Ahhh, it'll be around quite a bit longer. Clean and clear along most areas. No cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. What a great "wild west" combination of the aforementioned soap with Clubman Special Reserve A.S.(go west Doc Pinaud, go west). I don't like the green appearance of the aftershave, but it still feels&smells the same on the skin, which is good. How did it get that way anyway(the green)? 2 passes. As Outstanding As It Gets.

    Thanks Scott. This was only a headshave and I did mention that I used Aqua Velva Ice Blue aftershave.

    Thanks Joe. I saw that, so I guess it was a rhetorical question. I just had this picture in my head of the old Aqua Velva commercials with the big face splash, and envisioned you doing that on your head lol...

    Did an error-free 3 pass close and comfortable shave this morning. Went for Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender set on this cold Long Island morning. I just love this scent. Here's my lather:

    I had very little alum feedback on my neck, but that was it. Finished the shave in my usual way. I am happy with this shave. I am clean and refreshed. Take care.
