Fabulous shave this morning with the Twin Duck. It is an easy razor to use being well balanced and sharp. Three passes to super smoothness.

The WTF Vintage Barbershop should have a date with the Edmund Fitzgerald by the beginning of March. I would venture a guess for the third week in February but the set will not be making the trip to the Southern den.

Same setup as y’day except for:

Blade = Nacet (2)
Passes = 2 +
ASL = Stirling Bay Rum. For me this lasts the whole day and becomes sweeter as the spices get weaker
Damage = none: Another 9.8 / 10
Comments = 30 Swirls from the puck with 7 cc water. Less soap, same amount of water, therefore a little thinner than I would like. Getting this dialled in nicely. At some stage I might have keep a notebook in my shaving corner to keep track of what works best with what! On the other improvising and adapting on the fly is half the fun

Great shave this morning. I will say I should have gone easier on the cheeks, as the ingrown hairs are, just that...growing, especially the left side. No red damage, though. In fact, zero across the board on cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. Porcupine Alley showed up well, both ends. A little hard around the other ingrown hair area, down at Cactus Nation. Good elsewhere. Nice finish from the Clubman Special Reserve. Two passes. Very Outstanding.

Today’s razor is approximately over 120 to 130 yrs and it still shaves well.
Did an error-free 3 pass shave for a very close, comfortable shave. With TSD Soaps, it's easier to load from the puck. I am not worried about losing the scents because the frags are mild from the start. It does need plenty of water to make a nice lather, however, it will not be voluminous, but it will be slick.

The alum feedback was nada. That's always a good sign. Splashed on the witch hazel and the matching aftershave to end this session. Definitely pleased with this shave. Take care.
