Wow! That was a close shave….
I did a rare evening shave since my day tomorrow keeps getting busier by the minute. For my last razor of the month I broke out the RR Blackhawk that I’ve been impatiently sitting on for a few weeks.
I had mentioned before that I tried (I believe) the earliest version of the Mongoose AC razor very early in my DE journey, and it was too much for me back then. Because of that experience, I went into this shave with a bit of residual trepidation.
I set to work on an almost two day old beard and had a super close, and very comfortable two pass shave. The Feather Pro’s cut a wide swath quickly and efficiently. I did not do a third pass, for the most part because it felt like there was nothing left to shave after the first two. I am smooooothh….
I do need to work on pressure and angle a bit around the chin area. No cuts or anything bad, just a bit more alum feedback to alert me.
I’ve become an instant fan of the AC Pro blades and am wondering what else to try now.
Days shaving in January - 26
Current skin issues or irritation- None so far
Enjoy the evening gents….
