Razor : Razorock Game changer.84-Mfg 2018> tame mid range. Machining and finish are excellent for my shaving needs. I find I like to use a Kai extra wide blade in this razor( I like a little more blade feel). I had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Kai SS extra wide- sharp and smooth with excellent longevity.
Soap : Razorock M.F- nice cologne scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Orbital ring' 24mm boar bristle, Excellent lather generator, soft split end boar bristle tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock M.F with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my RR GC.84 with a Kai SS extra wide blade.

The Personna blades have been challenging for me, being smooth but very sharp. I have gotten BBS results before that I regretted later when my skin was uncomfortable. This time I was slow and easy and I got a lovely BBS results on two passes with some touch up. No irritation later!

Prep: Warm shower:/Imperial Leather Lavender & Wild Iris Body Wash.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Chinese Unbranded horsehair.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Blue's Shaving Soap.
Blade: Statum Platinum Chrome. (D2)
Razor: Parker 55SL Semi-Slant.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./David Beckham Instinct ASL. / Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Greetings,

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

A very in-expensive eclectic shave set up where everything worked together wonderfully.

My focus with the Parker 55SL Semi-Slant has made me realise how much I like slant bar razors.

An acceptable close 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

The Van Der Hagen Deluxe Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #446 Boar/Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher Razor and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

These 7 AMs in my honest and unbiased opinion are not great blades because they’re very inconsistent. Some of them are terrific and others are terrible. The one I was using this past week gave me great performance until yesterday but then it just crapped out on me so I switched to a brand new Derby and I was very pleased. The Super Max Menthol cream from Bulgaria has a fairly nice scent, it lathers like a champ, the menthol sensation is pleasant albeit relatively mild, and the postshave feeling is pretty good. The Gold Bond moisturizer gave me lots of cooling as well as soothing, and the Aqua Velva Sport aftershave went on icy cold along with its delightful old school scent that I love so much. Three passes cleaned away all that tough stubble - what a great BBS shave this was!
