    Thanks Joe. Yes, we are polar opposites in that I like bright scents and you like dark ones.

    Thanks Joe. You're half right. It has an R41 head, but doesn't have a stock handle.

    Gotcha about the News! understood!
    Talc: hmm, I would get covered in talcum powder, used to use it elsewhere, bit messy but I suppose in moderation it could work. I shave the back of my neck nowadays but just use Alum Thayers and ASL

    Thanks Joe, due to get to the High 30s and even 40C this week

    Thanks Gary

    Thanks Joe

    Early morning shave,

    An invigorating early morning cold water face & head shave using an eclectic shaving set up to finishing off my last shave of January 2024 superbly.

    The Statum Platinum Chrome have been a wonderful blade over the last few weeks paired together with the Parker 55SL.

    I'll return to the Personna Comfort Coated Lab Blue on Thursday for my first shave of February 2024 paired together with the FaTip Grande of which I'll be using along with my Merkur 37C for whole of February.

    Well, this was my first go with Prorasso--the foam and aftershave both. That lid on the foam is so hard to twist off. For future shaves, I simply put it back on without tightening it shut. I do like one feature of the foam-helps neutralize ingrown hairs. No cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. One pass. Good soft feel on the skin-reminds me of good ol'Rise Superfoam in that regard. The aftershave is quite pleasant, with its feature scent of sandalwood oil. Very masculine. I just did a review for Prorasso on their website for the aftershave. BAM-just like that it showed up. I liked seeing it right away. I will make mentiom of the tight lid when asked to review the foam. But the shave gets an As Outstading As It Gets.

    Prep = Tap Water Prep
    Pre-Shave = Tabac in a tube ***finally finished***
    Soap = Sterling Margaritas in the Arctic
    Brush = Omega 10049
    Bowl = Timeless
    Razor = Gillette Popular OC
    Blade = Nacet (3)
    Passes = 3 +
    Post = Usual, Sterling Bay Rum
    Scent = PR Cypress and Vetyver
    Damage = none
    Score = 9+
    Comments = Day 3 of the Nacet worked fine. Starting to drag a bit. Binned. If I can get 3 shaves from each blade then I have enough blades for 20 years
