    Not going to have time today for a detailed post but wanted to finish off the month with some good news at least.

    Now that my skin issues have been solved, I wanted to revisit my seeming skin allergies to menthol and tea tree oil. I was hoping that it was the irritated skin just overreacting. To do this I grabbed one of my wife's tea tree oil products and picked up an inexpensive tube of Proraso Green.

    Bad news- I am 100% allergic to tea tree oil. Touching a bit to my neck and even the skin on my arm caused an immediate reaction...

    Good News- I don't think menthol is an issue for me anymore, as long as there is no TTO in the formula. I had a great shave this morning using the Proraso white pre shave and balm along with the green menthol cream. Third use on the feather AC blade in the Blackhawk and still going strong.

    I'm going to try it one more time next month to be sure, then probably table it until spring. As good as the shave was, the cold menthol sensation is definitely not a February thing. I will probably get the pre and after shaves when the weather warms up and explore adding menthol to the rotation...
