Another loaded up weekend on tap. Shaved in the afternoon, which is unusual for me. On top of everything else, I had to go out in the freezing cold and do a rear brake job on my wife’s truck. I was definitely saving the shower/shave for after that.

I’m still using the Henson until the Feather blade is done. Then I will figure out my next move. After three straight months following testing protocols, the freedom to just do what I want again is a nice change..

The TOBS Sandalwood was the last thing to slip in before my Feb purchase sabbatical, and the last new thing you all will see from me for the month.

I’m not sure if the Sandalwood is a different formula than the citrus versions, but this one was much softer and “cream like” than my other TOBS creams in tubs. The others are more like croaps. It was the perfect cream for this busy day as it loaded and face lathered up as quickly as anything else I have used. Really great scent as well, and the Clubman Vanilla paired perfectly with it.

I am going out tonight so I needed to shave my 48 hr stubble to look presentable. I went with my old reliable and that is my Dovo shavette. Of course, I picked the Tsuka set because I want to smell really nice.
Here's my lather:



Three passes without touchups gave me an error-free ultra BBS shave. I just enjoy how this razor shaves. I feel like I am Hank Aaron hitting home runs when I use this razor. Ok, maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but you guys get my drift. Lol!
There wasn't any alum feedback and that's always a good thing. Did my usual post shave routine and finished with a few spritzes of the EdT. Take care.
