    Flexible, Favourite, Feather, Fatip, Fine, Felce, whatever grabs my Fancy

    ~24 hours

    Prep = Tap water soak, TOBS Jermyn Street cream as preshave
    Soap = The Body Shop Maca root and aloe
    Brush = Omega EVO E1858 white synthetic 28 mm knot
    Bowl = Timeless
    Razor = Merkur 37C (not it's not the temperature here)
    Blade = Gillette 7 o’clock super platinum Black (3)
    Passes = 3+
    Post = Usual post treatment Followed by Fine Latigo
    Damage = none

    Score = 9.8 / 10
    Comments = Very Fine Shave

    The 37C was once again a revelation. Very smooth, very safe, easier to dig into the hollow between the lower lip and chin than the Gillette OCs. Easy ATG even in the first pass. Only thing is it felt like it wasn’t quite up to the task, the blade on Day 3 felt nice and smooth but not quite biting as much as I would like. Some adjustment to the angle of the cap was needed, easily overcome. Maybe the blade exposure is on the safe side? Good candidate for a Kai, methinks

    The Body Shop Maca root and Aloe was nice and mild, just a hint of the aloe, it never felt like drying out. Easy-as to lather

    The Omega EVO looks nice, has a comfy grip, is nice and light, releases the lather well and although this has some backbone is nice and soft when painting on the lather. I would say it is not a splayer like the softer badgers, but more of a painter

    The Latigo is pleasant, subtle and refreshing. My wife senses a hint of Arko in there somewhere but my nose does not register that. Too bad!?

    Overall a very smooth and Fine Sunday shave

    Hope your shaves turn out as well or better

    Nice shave again Barry, have seen the Arko in a tube online around here: is it as strong a scent as the Arko in the tub? Seems to be very reasonably priced

    Thanks Joe

    Very good shave this morning. One Knick prevented me from getting a top-ranked grade. I ended up being lucky as I thought the Knick would lead into a cut, but I escaped that concern. Much better on the cheeks, great on the sideburns, ditto both ends of Porcupine. I should have done a bit better at North Cactus, but the rest of it was fine. Two passes.The Yardley came out like Niagra Falls, but I controlled it well enough. Nice scent. Most Outstanding.

    IMG_5970.jpeg DE Shave # 513 - Sample Soap Sunday - Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender
    (F -Razor February) - FaTip
    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Fatip Grande Open Comb
    Blade: Personna Lab Blues (3)
    Brush: Shore Shave Cool Mint Water 24 mm Synthetic
    Pre-Shave: Pears Transparent Soap
    Lather: Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender
    Aftershave: Chatillon Lux Pure Lavender Toner
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

    Final shave of the soap sample, Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender. I used a synthetic brush instead of a boar to produce the lather. The end result was another slick and thick lather that easily allow the razor and blade to perform admirably. Three glorious passes to super smoothness.

    Thank you again to Joe, @Trigger, for sharing a sample of this not longer in production soap.

    Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.
