Nice Monday morning Bay Rum shave today. Two passes with no issues. The Feather blades last a bit longer for me in the Henson. Alum was silent and I’m heading out for the day smelling great and clean shaven. Enjoy your Monday gentlemen…. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
05 Feb 2024 Flexible, Favourite, Feather, Fatip, Fine, Felce, whatever grabs my Fancy 23 hours Same as yesterday except for the blade, same very Fine Shave Blade = Nacet (1) Passes = 2 + Able to go ATG in the first pass in many areas ASL = Fine Latigo Superb, one of my smoothest shaves. DFS all over, BBS both ways in some areas This could be my one and only razor Still some pesky Zone 8 leftovers so this is not yet a 10/10 Still dialling in the Body Shop Maca root and Aloe, but again, this could be all one needs
Razorock Hawk with open comb plate. Weber bulldog handle. Yaqi 24mm synthetic brush. Cella shave soap and lotion. Timeless Razor shave bowl. Yesterday and today's shaves. Three very nice passes. It has been a while since the Hawk has come out to play....very solid performance. Happy Monday everyone!
Good shave today, but I can do MUCH better. Porcupine took 3 Knicks. The cold-water rinse and A.S. cut it down to 2, but still I am upset. All else went fine-THAT wss good. I was pleased wiith the result at Cactus, especially. But there's just no excuse to get a Knick around Porcupine. The skin is just as soft ss the cheeks(with the exception of just over the jawline). Ridiculous. Good work with the Yardley A.S., at least, to close off. Pretty Outstanding. My next two shaves will be "at the barbershop" . Hopefully they will be better than today.
Well, I used to have the "fierce self-confident" view that ALL my shaves are excellent/outstanding, the question is just HOW so. If a shave was simply "Excellent" or "Outstanding, it meant that it stunk the joint out. But you're right, in the case of a stinker, "Mediocre" may be a replacement down the road.
You can describe you shaves anyway you want, Paul, I shouldn't have commented. I deleted my original post.

(F -Razor February) - GEM Feather SE Shave # 368 Rating: 5 / 5 Razor: Gem Feather Blade: GEM Stainless (1) Brush: Leo Frilot Custom NYR 26 mm Synthetic Pre-Shave: Pears Transparent Soap Lather: WTF Vintage Barbershop Aftershave: WTF Vintage Barbershop Additional Care: Omega Alum Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm Wonder GEM shave following the X3 Bar Push workout and a hot shower. The synthetic brush whipped up a huge amount of lather from an almond sized scoop of soap. I had enough for three passes, a two pass head shave and a post shave facial application. The end result was a super close shave with a ten minutes delayed weeper on my chin. No biography deal. I will chalk it up to a new blade. I am looking good for my monthly 30Dc LI Chapter meeting with Joe, @Trigger. Once Again the time flew by with some great conversational topics. Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.
