Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Monsavon Au Lait Shaving Soap.
Blade: Personna Comfort Coated Lab Blue. (D2)
Razor: FaTip Grande.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./P&G Old Spice Classic ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Early morning shave,

The Monsavon Au Lait along with MWF/Kent are some of my favourite shaving soaps. The post shave feel that both of these soaps give is absolutely superb, making each shave I have with them a very enjoyable shaving experience.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #217 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem G-bar SE Razor and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Awesome shave bro!

I must get that soap with the matching aftershave because I love the Aramis fragrance!

Thursday morning’s el cheapo shave:

Capra soap as a facial wash
Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
Wilkinson Sword/Derby day 12
Reitzer SS (from South Africa and dirt cheap)
Aloe Vesta Moisturizer
Booster Iced Lime AS Splash

This Reitzer soap may be as cheap as chips but let me say this - it’s FANTASTIC stuff. It’s glycerine based with a very nice old school scent, five minutes of blooming helps the lather to become thick, rich, slick, as well as very protective, and it’s so gentle on sensitive skin. The Aloe Vesta moisturizer works so well as a balm, and the Iced Lime aftershave is a Canadian barbershop classic - it smells so nice. Two passes were sufficient for a great BBS shave that I really enjoyed!

DE SOTD, February 8th 2024

Razor : Yaqi Sentinel 1.55mm, 316SSP with a Yaqi Rocket SS handle- Mfg 2021>, Mild to tame mid aggression. Excellent machining and finish QC that looks similar to the Personna BBS0, LAS BBS1, Wolfman W2 designed razors. This razor works great with a shallow angle(riding the cap) for my shaving better results. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Kai SS extra wide(8) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity! Top tier blade IMO for milder razors or a person who enjoys a little blade feel increase or exposure.
Soap : Razorock Santa Marie del Fiore. Nice Vanilla with light tobacco scent with light menthol with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Sagrada Familia" 24 mm Tuxedo synthetic knot. Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock M.F splash( I like RR MF more than SMDF slash with the soap!) with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Sentinel with a Kai SS extra wide.
