Thanks Chris. I had plenty of open blade shaves so the muscle memory is locked in for me. I still tweak my technique and I don't take shaving with a straight or a shavette for granted. I still must maintain a level of focus, otherwise, I will nick or cut myself. It's a skill that anyone can acquire as long as you have a steady hand and patience.

Another nice shave with Proraso this morning. It was less squiggly as it came out. Just need to keep shaking it. Since it was so, I could get more onto my face and neck. One pass. Zero for cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots(always a positive sign). Good work with the A.S. Super Duper Outstanding. Next 8 shaves will all be from the soap persuasion.

 

Gary I've decided your current avatar has become my favorite. 2nd place is the goofy-looking George Washington(clearly the first POTUS forgot his wig) and 3rd is the barbershop.

Wonderful shave this morning. The Sailor Jerry Spiced Navy is a great aftershave which finished off this shave nicely. Another comfortable three pass shave without incident.

I am looking forward to this weekend’s shaves as I will be using different software.
Saturday - Palmolive Shave Stick and Derby City Small Batch aftershave.
Sunday - Mickey Lee Soapworks Drunken Goat and Chatillon Lux Inconditional Surrender.
Razor - Yaqi “Travel” with a Persona Lab Blue blade.
