L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash

Aqua Velva Sport AS Splash

This Delmy cream is apparently very popular in Indian barbershops and very popular with wetshavers in India because it’s so cheap. This cream has a very nice scent, just a couple of small dabs on your chin or on both cheeks gives fabulous lather that’s so thick, rich, slick, and cushiony, there’s a pleasant menthol sensation, and it leaves a soothing, comfortable postshave feeling. The Boomslang 1 balm from Bundubeard is AWESOME - it’s so concentrated that just a small amount is all you need - it’s so soothing as well as moisturizing and it’s fairly mentholated. Not only that, it smells a lot like Brut. Finally the Aqua Velva Sport aftershave went on icy cold along with its delightful scent. Three passes gave another perfect BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #217 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem G-bar SE Razor and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

SE SOTD, Friday, February 9th 2024

Razor : Yaqi Romulus SE 316 SSP with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle- Mfg 2123, mild to tame mid range depending on blade used or shim. Excellent machining and finish QC for my shaving needs. Small head parts makes me assemble blade on a wash cloth just in case I drop a part. The Romulus razor does have some positive blade exposure but if a person wants a little more blade feel use a Feather pro super or shim it .006-.010" inches works excellent also. I had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Kia Captain titian mild(4) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity. Great blade for 50mm AC razors IMO.
Soap : Razorock Lavender. Great masculine scented lavender with some of the best lather qualities I have used.(Obsolete) + on 3rd tub.
Brush : Yaqi "Chianti's" 24 mm synthetic. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus 50mm AC type razor with a Kai Captain mild blade.
