Prep: Warm shower:/Bulldog Vetiver & Black Pepper Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 10066.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Phoenix & Beau Star Noir Shaving Soap.
Blade: Personna Comfort Coated Lab Blue. (D1)
Razor: Merkur 37C.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB./Ard Al Zafran Dirham Oud EDP.

(Face & Head Shave)
A new shave set up to start the weekend. After the comfortable shaves that I had with my Parker 55SL Semi-Slant razor last month the Merkur 37C, is slightly more assertive than the Parker 55SL, but is my favourite and most reached for out of my three slant razors.

An acceptable close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off a with a few small squirts of Ard Al Zafraan Dirham Oud EdP to the pulse points.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

Saturday morning - almost a Grand Freeze:

Captain Nemo Green Ice AS Toner
Floid Vigoroso AS Splash

Is this Green Ice soap ever COLD - ok, not quite as cold as a Stirling Glacial soap or some others that I have but the menthol power is still very potent. This soap is vegan based, the scent is so nice - it’s a lovely blend of vetiver and lime, the lather is sumptuous, the menthol sensation hits hard, and the postshave care is awesome. The matching aftershave toner has the same beautiful scent, it’s icy cold, and it’s very moisturizing as well as soothing. Last but not least the gorgeous old school scent of the Floid Vigoroso aftershave along with its strong menthol kick and I’m ready to take my niece with nephew out for breakfast. Three passes gave me another brilliant BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #217 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Henry Taylor 5/8 straight gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

DE SOTD, February 10th 2024

Razor : Razorock Wunderbar slant 316 SSP + a modified Micromatic handle - Mfg 2017>, mid to upper mid range depends on technique. Excellent machining and finish QC + 316SS marine grade stainless. Through trail and error I have mastered this razor and the best way to shave with the Wunderbar because of its high curvature head shape is to use a Steep approach(riding the bar) with a short handle(less weight and excellent maneuverability) and light touch works the best for myself. The results are excellent + a 2 pass shave with clean up pass is all that I use for my medium stubble beard. Had a close and comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette Perma-sharp(1) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock Lavender, nice masculine lavender scented soap with excellent lather qualities. 3rd tub almost gone.
Brush : Yaqi "Robin" 24mm boar bristle brush, Excellent lather generator, soft split end boar bristles, nice firm splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning with my RR Wunderbar with a fresh Perma-sharp.
