    Good afternoon.

    Schick I-1 Injector
    Pella Blade (9)
    Omega Pro 49 Boar Brush
    Cella SS
    Stirling Spice AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Modessa Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 23 hrs

    20240210_165158.jpg

    Had a nice error-free 3 passer that resulted in a BBS shave. It looks like the Cella will be fitzzed in the next two to three days. It was a great soap with awesome slickness, but I am ready to move on to other soaps. I am sure that I will purchase it again down the road. The alum feedback was negligible. Finished with the witch hazel and the Stirling Spice aftershave. I didn't use the matching EdT because I figured to give it a rest. Take care.

    Nice basic shave Joe, good for travelling

    thanks Joe, 1/4 Teaspoon or 1.25 mls scoop. I guess I could by with only one quarter of that with this soap, which means it will go a looooong way.

    Very classic. Possibly for the aristocracy or the top brass that seldom got to the front lines. I don't see this being packed in any of the services dop-kit. Nice to see it in action though Gary

    Flexible, Favourite, Feather, Fatip, Fine, Felce, whatever grabs my Fancy

    11 Feb 2024.jpg

    Growth = 1 day
    Fancied an Italian themed day today, hence the Proraso/Omega/Fatip

    I don't have any Italian made blades to the Made in India one will have to do

    Prep = Tap Water face rinse (34 Celsius coming out the cold tap!)
    Pre shave = Proraso con Aloe e Vitamina E (tube)
    Soap = Proraso Green Menthol (huh? what menthol?). Just lathered straight over the pre-shave
    Brush = Pura Setola
    Bowl = Timeless
    Blade = Gillette 7 o’clock super platinum Black (2)
    Passes = 2 + only needed
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, CWR, Thayers, Proraso Rinfrescante
    Scent = Proraso Cypress and Vetyver cologne. Love this stuff

    Score = 9.5
    Another great result with the Fatip. I normally remove the blade each day to clean everything, but I left the blade in the razor yesterday, it’s a bit fiddly to align the blade in the razor each time. Gillette SP black performed well on day 2. Still no damage for February. Strangely enough, Zone 8 which is usually my nemesis area is smoother than the rest of the shave. C’est la vie. Do I need the Slant? Not really, I am still slip-sliding anyway, even with the slant, but it is fun to use

    Super Sunday Shaves to one and all

    DE Shave # 515 - The Shave Bowl SUPER BOWL SOTD Event
    Chatillon Lux (Missouri) vs Mickey Lee Soapworks (California)

    Rating: 5 / 5
    Razor: Yaqi Traveler
    Blade: Personna Lab Blues
    Brush: Ever Ready 200T
    Lather: MLS The Drunken Goat
    Aftershave: Chatillon Lux Unconditional Surrender Toner

    Wonderful efficient travel shave this morning. The sparingly uses MLS soap, no longer in production, pairs well with the CL UCS toner.

    Once again the three pass routine did the trick. Super close end result without any incidents.

    Traveling back home by noon today to be home in plenty of time for the game. Hope you all have an enjoyable Sunday.
