    Shaving Recipe for today.

    Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
    Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
    Brush: Semogue 830.
    Bowl Lather.
    Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
    Lather: MWF.
    Blade: Treet Dura Sharp. (blue pack) (D1)
    Razor: FaTip Grande.

    Post:
    Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essntial Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Tabac ASL./Paco Rabanne Pour Homme ASL./ Cien Sensitive ASB.

    Greetings,

    (Face & Head Shave)

    Another eclectic shave set up to start the weekend...I've returned to using The Treet Dura Sharp blue pack carbon PTFE/Teflon edge coated blades, purely because it's another blade I've only used a few times in the past, I've also got the Yellow pack and feel there is only a minor difference with both blades, with the blue feeling slightly sharper and less smooth than the yellow. That said I like both blades equally.

    Having such a vast amount of various Treet blades, 350 +!!! "impulsive buying urges".We are all guilty of these urges with past buys...Anyway, for myself I need to start using them up. I intend to carry on using the Dura Sharp blue pack & other Treet blades for a good while.

    The MWF as always provided me with a wonderful protective slick lather for the shave leaving an excellent post shave feel...I've stated many times in my postings that I could easily shave with MWF/Kent shaving soap forever, but like everyone else I like variety with my shaves.

    An acceptable close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off a with a few small dollops of Cien Sensitive ASB.

    My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

    Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.:cool:

    Flexible, Favourite, Feather, Fatip, Fine, Felce, whatever grabs my Fancy

    Growth = 1 day

    Prep = wet the face
    Pre Shave = Proraso Cypress and Vetyver Pre Shave
    Cream = Proraso cream Cypress and Vetyver
    Brush = Omega EVO
    Bowl = Proraso Green bowl
    Razor = Rocket HD
    Blade = Gillette 7 o’clock Super Platinum Black (1)
    Passes = 2 +
    Post = Usual, Alum, CWR, Thayers, Proraso Pure Barbe
    Scent = Proraso Cypress and Vetyver Cologne
    Damage = felt a nick over the adam’s apple? Nope no damage

    Score = 9+

    Transitioning from going in multiple directions in each pass to J-hooking. It seems to be natural transition from short multidirectional strokes to J-hooking or what I call scooping.

    Hope you all have a great Saturday

    Not the best way to close out(until next time)a favorite shave soap&AS of mine in Bill Neumann, but it could be worse. Great beginning, as the Stoylin Pro-Handle really went to work, attracting the soap like a magnet. Nice work on the cheeks&sideburns, but Knicks happened at North and South Porcupine. No red damage on Cactus, but I'm still not 100% satisfied with my focus down there. 2 passes. I'll be nice and give myself a Pretty Outstanding grade. It is Bill Neumann, after all.

    Gary, it surprised me that the Stoylin brush FIT inside the BN soap! lol.

    Good morning.

    Shavette Shave #529
    Dovo
    Personna Hairshaper Blade (13)
    JR #290 Cashmere Brush
    Seaforth Sea Spice Lime SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Modessa Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 24 hrs.

    It's great to use a Personna Hairshaper Blade in my Dovo shavette, once again. I prefer using these blades instead of breaking a DE Blade in half and also, they are a lot sharper.
    Seaforth Sea Spice Lime creates a nice lather and the scent is just wonderful. If I want to nitpick, then I wish it would be stronger.
    Here's my lather:

    Three passes gave me a BBS shave without any incidents. Alum gave me some feedback. Applied the witch hazel and the nice matching aftershave. I thoroughly enjoyed this shave. Take care.

    Your pictures are always crisp. 350 blades would last me 12 to 14 yrs. Awesome shaves Barry.

    Thank you Joe..I have enough blades to last me more than your 12 to 14 years... I'm going to use each blade for two shaves max, with the exception of Gem/personna/Schick SE/ injector blades which have excellent longevity.
