    For which one, the Pinaud Whiskey Woods? More may be better if you can catch it all.

    Well, it happened again Gary-your soap title got cut off in part by your brush and razor. But that's all right, I got the ideaaa(HAAAAH-long lung breath)

    Good evening.

    I really didn't need to shave today because I had a real close shave, yesterday. However, I like to shave everyday. I picked one of my C-Mon razors to handle this evening's session. As I have previously mentioned, I no longer bowl lather the TSD soaps so there aren't any lather pics. I bloomed the soap and wetted my face and afterwards, loaded my brush to facelather. This soap can take plenty of water to produce a slick lather. I only needed 2 passes to get an error-free BBS shave because I didn't have the normal amount of stubble. I was fine with it. The alum was silent and finished this session in my usual manner. Take care.

    Greetings,

    (Face & Head shave)

    Early morning shave,

    A wonderful lather from the HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.2) The Tea Tree & Lavender essential oils gives the soap a mild medicinal scent with a wonderful post shave feel from the lanolin making my mature rhino skin feel superb.

    I count myself very fortunate that that my skin type doesn't have any adverse reaction from the lanolin & essential oils that are added to the HWF soaps.

    Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

    My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.;)

    Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.:cool:

    Flexible, Favourite, Feather, Fatip, Fine, Felce, whatever grabs my Fancy

    1 day
    Prep = cold water splash
    Preshave = TOBS Jermyn Street cream
    Cream = TOBS Oud
    Brush = Old Vulfix 1000A
    Bowl = Timeless
    Razor = Gillette Red Tip
    Blade = Feather (1)
    Passes = 3 +
    Post = CWR, Alum, CWR, Thayer’s, Pinaud Whiskey Woods Waterfall
    Scent = Bulgari Wood Essence
    Damage = none

    The Feather does feel a bit sharper than the Permasharp, hence I took it easy and needed 3+ passes
    Left handed back of neck shave is still a learning process

    I thought the Whiskey Woods would overpower the Oud, but it wore off and the Oud is still coming to the fore 12 hours later. Magic!

    Have a terrific Tuesday everyone. It’s another 40C + day here, the scorching blue skies get a bit boring after a while

    Fine shave this morning-back to soaps for a week or so. Now that the Hub City Soaps West Texas is nearing the bottom, I can get better loading dock action on whatever brush I use. The family in Lubbock, Texas who made this wants it to compete with the best of 'em, and they are well on their way. One negative glitch on the shave- a scary-looking cut just off the edge of the upper lip, left sidel Happened during the first pass, thus I had to spend nearly the entire shave looking at it. I just proceeded with the shave, and did very well. North and South Porcupine was a success(minus the cut), and I improved on Cactus. Thankfully, the cold-water rinse and A.S. reduced the cut to polka-dot size( I bet the thing would have been gone had I used Osage, but it isn't warm enough yet) Very Outstanding(I mean, after all, as I said, there was no bleeding action on the cut).)
