    February 24 SOTE

    Good evening.

    Schick I-1 Injector Razor
    Ted Pella Injector Blade (10, 11)
    MrEE Tuxedo Brush
    Captain's Choice 45th Parallel SS and AS Stirling Alum Block
    Modessa Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 26 hrs.
    Dome turf: 3 days.

    20240223_221726_001.jpg

    I picked the Schick I-1 Injector Razor to do my head and face shave. I must say I like the Pella blades a lot better in this razor than in my E-3. I went with the 45th Parallel set today. It is a hard soap, but it crumbles when I scoop it so I have to press the pieces together to form one large piece. It's my only negative with this soap. It may be that it was sitting too long on the shelf at Pasteur's Pharmacy. I have never had a soap do that before. Anyway, it still gives a nice slick and creamy lather. Here's my lather:

    Did 3 passes and achieved an error-free BBS head and face shave. I had a slight alum feedback under my chin and on the right side of the top posterior of my dome.
    Finished this shave in my usual manner. I am happy with this shave. Take care.

    24 Feb 2024 Saturday shave, late post

    Flexible, Favourite, Feather, Fatip, Fine, Felce, whatever grabs my Fancy

    24 hours

    24 Feb 2024.jpg

    Prep = cold water splash
    Preshave = TOBS Jermyn street cream
    Soap = Sterling Satsuma sample
    Brush = Pura Setola
    Bowl = Timeless
    Razor = Muhle R89
    Blade = Permasharp (3)
    Passes = 3+
    Post = Usual/Alum/Thayers etc + Fine Latigo

    Damage = none

    The plan was to take it easy on the face after may Last OC with Feather shave to give my face a rest. Not the best idea

    Overall good but not enjoyable shave, The Permasharp on day 3 needed more buffing...feeling a bit raw but no damage

    Still think most blades only last me 2 days

    Hope you had a great Saturday

    @elektrotasil Hi Asil. I see that you became a member last July and I noticed that you have liked some of our posts in this thread, but you only have 2 posts on TSD. Is there any reason why you haven't posted any shaves on this site? We generally like to have people interact on this thread so that we can get to know you and maybe give you advice on wetshaving. Based on you 2 posts and profile, you are from Turkey and 25 yrs of age. Btw, welcome to this thread.

    Hi thank you, honestly I love the posts and pictures on this forum and I try to check it everyday. Gotta admit I don't really commit to a 3017. I prefer to change shaving hardware each time. Lazyness is another factor, if I'm honest. Also I feel like I can't really add that much to the dialogue since I feel that my wet shaving jurney is still at infancy. So I try to absorb you guys' knowledge and lurk. :D
