Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega S10018.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Nivea Men Sensitive Pro Ultra-Calming Liquid Shaving Cream.
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) blue pack. (D2)
Razor: Merkur 37C.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./ Brut Oceans ASL./ Wilko Men's ASB.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick-ups close comfortable BBS shave with no errors to report...My slant razors are becoming my go to razors.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Wilko Men's ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

25 Feb 2024 Sunday Shave

Flexible, Favourite, Feather, Fatip, Fine, Face lathering, Felce, whatever grabs my Fancy

Growth = just over 26 hours

Prep = cold water splash
Preshave + Cream = The Body Shop Maca Root and Aloe
Brush = Omega EVO
Bowl = none, Face Lathering, just using the bowl to rest the brush in
Razor = Gillette Rocket 1950/60’s 694093 II Made in England in a Tech case
Blade = Feather day (1)
Passes = 2 +
Post = CWR, Alum was mild, Thayers, Fine Latigo

Damage = none

Another dream shave
I used the Body Shop cream on a wet face as preshave then built the lather up from there, dipping to add water until it was shiny smooth, just short of dripping off the brush

The Rocket produced another Fine performance with the Feather, whilst the Body shop shaving cream provided a silky smooth surface for the cap and blade

Left overs: just missed having a perfect horizontal line at the sideburns, easily fixed with the Gillette Sensor Excel, that’s about the only thing I use it for these days. Might I want to try a full cartridge shave again soon? hmmm, thinks long and hard…..

Hi Asil. I understand how you may think that you don't have anything to contribute. I am glad that you are absorbing info from this thread because that is one of the main tenets for its existence. Of course, the comraderie on here is awesome. I hope you would reconsider in sharing a post or two. You could be just sharing a pic of your hardware without saying anything because a pic is worth 1000 words. Maybe you have some questions on wetshaving that may help you in your journey. In any event, whenever you decide to feel comfortable to add a post or respond to one will be greatly appreciated.
