Grooming Dept Tabac is not even close to the original Tabac by Mäurer & Wirtz.

GD Le Tabac: Cherry, Aged Tobacco Leaves, Tobacco Pouch, Vanilla, Woody Notes but no specific wood notes listed. Nice scent and excellent soap but nothing compares to the original Tabac.

Tabac: pepper, petitgrain, citrus, neroli, lavender, chamomile, geranium, oak moss, carnation, sandalwood, vetiver, moschus (musk), ambergris

This 50s Super Speed……what can I say……I just LOVE it because it’s so perfect for me - no matter how fast I shave it still gives me such great results without any issues whatsoever. Even though it’s a relatively mild razor and I have a very tough beard it still cleans me up beautifully. My Yaqi Barber Pole synthetic whipped up fabulous lather from the Kudu soap which has such a nice coffee/peppermint scent, it’s so slick as well as protective, the menthol sensation is STRONG and I mean STRONG not to mention how skin friendly it is. The Prep and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave were a great finish - so moisturizing, soothing, lots of icy cold menthol, and a beautiful old school barbershop scent. Three lightning fast passes started my week off with a brilliant BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

The PSC Decaffeinated Shaving Cream lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with Tom's Fuzzy Catcher and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

GEMonday, February 26th, 2024.

Razor : Gem Featherweight 1st generation-Mfg 1950-52, 2nd Gen 1953-54, tame mid range. The razor weighs 1 OZ I recall and performs like a champion. I always enjoy this razor and is a good razor to use with a fresh PTFE blade for maximum efficiency has been my experiences taking advantage of a very sharp blade. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(7) Very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Razorock Irish Countryside, nice scented soap(similar to Irish Creed scent according RR) with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Rainbow" 26mm brown whiskers synthetic. Excellent lather generator, luxury heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber. Excellent all around shaving brush from knot to handle for my shaving needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Irish Countryside splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Gem Featherweight with a Gem coated blade.
