This La Roche-Posay facial wash has a light exfoliating action which is excellent for leaving the skin spotlessly clean and it’s also very moisturizing. My wife bought it for me a while back and I’m very impressed with it. The De Vergulde Hand Extra Fris soap has a very nice scent which is soapy with aquatic notes, it’s not tallow based but it lathers beautifully with good slickness, and it leaves a really comfortable postshave feeling. The Proraso Blue balm is so soothing as well as moisturizing, and the Brut Oceans aftershave smells great but it doesn’t disrupt the magnificent Bleu de Chanel fragrance. Was this ever an awesome three pass BBS shave and did I ever enjoy it to the max!

DE SOTD, March 5th 2024

Razor : Razorock Lupo.72. Mfg 2021>, mid range. Excellent machining and finish. One of my favorite DE razors. Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : GSB(2) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Proraso green eucalyptus, nice scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Dandelion" 24mm Cashmere synthetic, Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Proraso green lotion with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning with my RR Lupo .72 with a GSB blade.
