    Friday's Cold Water Shave

    Cold Water Rinse
    Stirling Pharaoh's Dreamsicle
    Semogue SOC Boar
    Yaqi SHADE
Pro 500 Super Platinum Half Blade
    CWR
    Pharaoh's Dreamsicle AS

The Stirling Pharaoh's Dreamsicle Shave Soap lathered well with Semogue SOC Boar Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Yaqi SHADE Razor and a Pro 500 Super Platinum Half Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pharaoh's Dreamsicle After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Friday morning’s Grand Freeze:

    L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Wilkinson Sword day 9
Bundubeard Vanilla X3 SS (Glacial level menthol)
    Bundubeard Stoffel ASB
    Fine Snake Bite AS Splash
    Lagerfeld Classic EdT

This Vanilla X3 is a limited edition soap that Jaco made for the South African Master Shave forum and I was lucky enough to get one of them. It’s glycerine based like most of Jaco’s soaps, and although I’m not a fan of vanilla scented stuff this soap smells great, it lathers like a champ with plenty of slickness, the menthol sensation can freeze your face to smithereens, and the postshave feeling is wonderful. The Stoffel balm is so soothing as well as moisturizing and it’s also loaded with menthol. The Snake Bite aftershave took the freeze to another level - after the two second sting it makes your face feel like a block of ice. Three passes cleaned me up beautifully - another dynamite BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

Have a great weekend - be well and stay safe![IMG]

No, it is fragrance free. The beeswax soap base is actually different from the other Sterling soaps. They replaced the lanolin (which some people are sensitive to) with beeswax. The end result is an unscented soap that is different from their "Naked and Smooth" unscented in their standard base. Both are great, but I think I like the beeswax soap better. The lather seems a little denser and the smell is more neutral than the standard unscented, which has a stronger soapy smell.

Sterling also makes an unscented version of their sheep soap, which is completely different. It has a great lather, but to my nose, it has a sheepy animal smell that turns me off.

Razor : Yaqi Romulus 316 SSP with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2023>, mild range to midrange depending on blade or gap used. Small head parts, I find working on a wash cloth works well for easier assembling IMO. I like this combination of head and handle for enjoyable shaving. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Kai Captain titian mild(1) sharp and smooth with great longevity for a AC blade.
Soap : Razorock M.F, nice cologne scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Ferrari" 24mm bleached
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock M.F with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : Dial 10.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=[IMG] Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus razor with a Kai Captain mild Titian blade.

    Greetings,

    (Face & Head Shave)

A new shave set up to start the weekend...

It's been while since I use my Parker Variant and forgot how much of a efficiently smooth it is which paired together with the Treet Platinum wonderfully mowing through my stubble with effortless ease. Out of the three adjustable DE razors that I have in my collection the Parker Variant is my favourite, as I find the weight & build superb.

A wonderful performance from the Parker Variant/Treet classic duo to start the weekend off on a high note.

The Indian made Gillette guard continues to impress mowing through my head/dome stubble with effortless ease.

A close comfortable face and head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

My face & precious swede are both feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.
