Top of the afternoon to you!

    GEM MMOC
    Schick Injector Blade (2)
    MrEE Tuxedo Brush
TSD Irish Spring SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Dome Turf: 3 days

    20240317_150438.jpg

Yesterday's MMOC face shave was so close that I don't need to shave it again, but I do need a headshave. I figured that I would use the MMOC loaded with the Schick Injector Blade again to see how it shaves with 3 days dome turf. Again, it's another wow shave! This razor/blade combo took 3 days growth like it was a walk in the park. I really could have called it quits after 2 passes with touchups, but did 3 passes like I normally would. It was an error-free BBS result. I have to say it was my best headshave ever in the 15 years that I have been doing it.
Did get some alum feedback, but I was expecting it because the shave was über close. Splashed on the matching aftershave to end this epic shave. Take care.

Superb headshave Joe..."I have to say it was my best headshave ever in the 15 years that I have been doing it." That's some statement Joe!. Apparently you can do the same hack with the Yaqi Katana. I really like the rigidity of both the Injector Blade & Gem SE blades, the thickness of both blades narrow's down blade chatter to minimum, The MMOC has a excellent closing mechanism which really clamps down on the blade superbly. I've done a few headshaves in the past using the MMOC with a Gem SE blade, which are super efficient to say the least, but never using an Injector blade. I will have to give both the MMOC & the Yaqi Katana a try out with an injector blade my future headshaves. Using a SE/ Injector razor I assume is very near the same blade feel you get from a traditional straight razor, due to the rigidity/stiffness of a straight razor. Correct me if my assumption is wrong. Have a great coming week. yours- Barry.

Great shave this morning. Razorock Gold is a "shaving CREAM soap", to correct my lineup for today. Not that there was much of a correction. Clean and clear all over. I tried more "tricks" at S. Porcupine, such as going softer and slower, and doing shorter strokes with the razor. 2 passes. Goose eggs on cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. Classic finish from the Bill Neumann Signature 1907 A.S. As Oustanding As It Gets.
