Maybe not quite a Grand Freeze but very close to being one - my dear brother Jaco’s Kudu soap has such a lovely coffee/peppermint scent, it’s glycerine based with great lather that’s also very slick, it gives awesome blade glide, the menthol sensation is PLENTY strong, and it’s so good in the skincare department. The Stoffel balm is very pleasantly scented - peppermint with strong menthol notes, it’s so moisturizing as well as soothing, and is it ever icy cold. Finally the beautiful old school European scent of the Alt Innsbruck aftershave and I’m good to go. The new Wilkinson blade helped ensure a most enjoyable three pass BBS shave!

Maybe I'll get a Barber Pole brush, if I flip the Clubman, which I have thought seriously of doing, of late.I love Clubman in general, just not their brush.

Razor : Razorock 2nd Generation Lupo.72. Mfg 2021>, mid range. Excellent machining and finish QC. Checks all the boxes for my shaving needs with excellence. Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette 7oClock super stainless(3) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Wild Rose cream, nice rose scented shave cream with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi " Moka express" 24mm synthetic knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury heavenly cloud like soft tips, nice gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Great all around lathering brush for my shaving needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Nivea refreshing aftershave lotion + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning with my RR Lupo.72 with a Gillette 7oClock SS blade. Very enjoyable shave and quickly accomplished if that matters.
