Nice shave this morning...back with the Bay Rum Boys, and a different
Brush-Stoylin Mid-sized Synthetic(No Name)

The Stoylin did a better job than the Clubman in gathering soap, as I knew it would. Again, nice work all around. I thought I might have a cut at S. Porcupine, but in the end things turned out fine. The one area that needs improvement is North Central Cactus, where I tend to switch razor direction to N-S. It should be all S-N...lightly, of course. But zero cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. 2 passes. Most Outstanding.

March 22 SOTD Fatboy Friday

Good afternoon.

Beard Growth: 25.5 hrs



I decided to go Fatboy Friday and have a good old-fashioned setup.
Did 3 passes for a nice shave. I got 2 weeps on both corners of my mouth. For the final pass, I should have dialed the razor to setting 6 because the blade had 5 prior shaves and it also wasn't a Gillette brand. No guts and no glory is the motto for today. Lol!
The alum feedback was significant on the neck and just under medium on the face. However, I look decent so I am happy with this shave. Splashed on the Pinaud-Clubman Classic aftershave to end this session. Take care.

I decided to go with a mug soap, Ach. Brito, and the RazoRock Game Changer. I was not disappointed. The razor coupled wit a fresh Suneko Amorphous Diamond SS blade delivered an exceptionally close shave. I did manage to get a minor nick on my upper lip just below the shazola. I will attribute this most like to user error with a momentary lack of focus. Shame, shame.
