Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 49.
Face & Head Lather.
Lather: Erasmic Shaving Soap Bowl.
Blade: Treet Classic. (D1)
Razor: Parker Razor Head w/Muhle R89 Handle. (Face)
Razor: Razor: Gilette Guard. (Head) - (D4)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./L'0REAL Soothing Birch Sap PSB./Rapport Original EdT.

A new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend.

A close comfortable face and head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Rapport Original EdT to the pulse points.

My face & precious swede are both feeling smooth and smelling divine.

Days growth = 1 + 3 hours

First damage of the month

Lazy Saturday shave after breakfast (after the coffee....)

Prep = cold water splash
Preshave = TOBS Jermyn street massage
Cream = TOBS Oud. Added liberal amount of glycerine and lathered straight over the preshave. Nice and shiny lather, great peaks, just short of dripping
Brush = Chubby 2 heavily loaded
Bowl = Timeless
Razor = Gillette NEW long OC
Blade = Bolzano (1)
Passes = 2 ++
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, CWR, Thayers
ASL = PR Barbe Dure because of its mild scent
Scent = Black Oud perfume oil pulse points, dabs to each cheek

Damage = Shoot, annoying scrape left lower chin. First damage of the month. Felt it before I saw it

Blame it on the coffee I had for breakfast…
No, blame it on the OC …
Hmm, maybe blame it on the new blade …
Or the TOBS ?
Blame it on the operator, pressing too hard ATG in that area, I don’t usually go that way. Will have to skirt around that area next time

Cold water and Alum controlled the scrape

Initial fresh Oud top notes subsided and left the woody Oud to come through later, subdued, not overpowering

I think the TOBS and an OC don’t really mix. I should leave the OC for thicker soaps like Tabac, Sterling, and oh yes, I have yet to come back to my MWF at some stage

As a very early June birthday present to myself I ordered a tub of The Body Shop Maca Root & Aloe shaving cream from Amazon UK, along with a Omega 10005 boar brush from Cannaught Shaving UK OMEGA 10005 Beech Handle Pure Bristle Shaving Brush (connaughtshaving.com)

Dreary weather day here on LI which will keep most of us inside with a forecast of 2+ inches (5.08 cm) of rain. Could be a blizzard like in northern New York. Joe, @Trigger, would be estatic.

Given the weather I decided to go with one of my darker scents, the PAA Sangre de Drago. It is a blend of Oud and Sandalwood. Of course, I could have went with the more wishful thinking of a lighter scent such a PAA Old Salty. I will bust that one out real soon.

Three passes with the JR Torrey easily clean up this morning’s whiskers leaving my face super smooth. The post shave alum report was rather silent and the splash finished off this shave nicely.

Hope you all have a drier day than I.
