Great shave Joe. My circle of friends canceled our social event for this afternoon due to the rainy weather. I am getting to hate all this rain we have been having this past month.

Beard Growth: 24 hrs
Dome Turf: 3 days



It was time for a head and face shave so the Mühle R102 got the call. This is the 2nd and 3rd use of this Suneko blade and it didn't have any trouble shearing the hair off my dome, face and neck. The Shave Den soap provided a slick lather, but doesn't give a voluminous lather. It loves water. I am fine with it. I can see significant amount of the bottom of the container so this tub will be Fitzgerald in the near future
Did three passes all around with minor touch-ups on the dome. There wasn't any bloodshed. Yay! The alum block feedback was negligible so that tells me I had a comfortable BBS shave. Splashed on the matching aftershave and I feel great. Take care.

Days growth = 1

Prep = cold water splash
Preshave = TOBS Jermyn street
Cream + Soap = TOBS Oud mixed with Tabac. Bowl lathered. Extra cushioning of Tabac came through nicely. The scents combine well but there was more residue in the basin to clean up afterwards than normal, meaning there is some disagreeable chemistry between these two. Slicker lather than TOBS with Glycerine though
Brush = Chubby 2
Bowl = Timeless
Razor = Gillette “Red” Tip, back to a closed bar razor for a bit to allow y’day’s nick to heal
Blade = Bolzano (2) fine, Binned
Passes = 3 +. Three passes needed, going carefully after y’day’s damage
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, CWR, Thayers
ASL = PR Barbe Dure
Scent = Red Musk. Sweetish, very middle eastern. Lovely. Lingers longer than the Black Oud.
Need to find a better Oud/Musk blend
Damage = none. Back on Track

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 11137.
Face Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Haslinger Schafmilch & Lanolin Shaving Soap.
Blade: Treet Classic. (D2)
Razor: Parker Razor Head w/Muhle R89 Handle.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Brut Oceans ASL./Wilko Men's ASB.

A relaxing Sunday morning Shave.

I have said this in many of my posting that the Haslinger Schafmilch & Lanolin soap is an incredible shaving soap. like all of the Haslinger soaps I've tried it doesn't get top marks for it's fragrance but My skin type really likes shaving soaps with lanolin added to the ingredients, the post shave feeling from it is absolutely superb.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Wilko Men's ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.
