  7. I have been using Glyce preshave soap bar for about a month and happy to report that, I think it doas nothing for me :D . I tried it as a normal preshave and left it on my face before lathering, I tried it as a normal soap and washed my face with it before lathering. I tried face lathering and bowl lathering. I even tried to leave it on my face for a while but nothing. My experiences as far as preshaves go consisted of cream types, proraso preshaves and after hearing all the hype about "the cube" glycerin based preshave I devided to give this bar a try but, didn't get the results I expected.

So from now on I won't be returning to this preshave soap. I don't know what I'll try to "focus on" for the next month as I like to change my shaving items for each shave, but I'll figure something and let you know.[IMG][IMG]

  8. Great shave this morning....I hadn't used Mike's Natural soap for a long time. That's big cake of soap inside that puck. The Razorkck brush was a soap magnet, getting a good solid load. Clean and clear all over. Goose-eggs on the cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. I had to redo the right sideburn area at the jawline(broken record, that). I managed the aftershave well enough(I recall a warning from a gentleman here that I'd better be careful so as to avoid a Niagra Falls persuasion, just as with Aqua Velva.) I was. Super Duper Outsanding.

I really didn't need to shave, but I did anyway. I wasn't going for a BBS result, hence, I just did two passes. One with the grain and the second was across the grain on my cheeks and against the grain on my neck. Red leakage was not noticeable.
I went with the wonderful scent of Stirling Spice. Here's my lather:

I received very little alum feedback and it was in the neck area. Splashed on the marvelous matching aftershave and I am good for the rest of the day. Take care.
