Went with the Shulton OS today. This is the start of my last bottle of the original juice (besides the OS Lime). Such an iconic product that is a favourite of both myself and Mrs Spartan. Do I think this might be a little weaker than my other 2 bottles I’ve used? Perhaps, but awesome nonetheless.
    Take care all.

Razor : Yaqi Sentinel 316SSP with a tear drop 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2022>, mild to tame mid range. Interesting system of centering blades with for posts. This razor works best for my self with a shallow angle(riding the cap). Had a close comfortable shave this morning!
Blade : GSB (4) sharp and smoooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco, nice XXX clean unique scented soap with some menthol + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Black marble" 24mm Tuxedo synthetic. Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. One of my favorite brushes for handle and performance.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : Dial 9.5.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=[IMG] Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Sentinel with a GSB blade.

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh 424 Synthetic Brush. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Wednesday morning:

    L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Wilkinson Sword day 14
    Dettol Cool SC
    Prep ASB
Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS Splash
    Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick
    Bleu de Chanel Parfum

This tube of Dettol Cool cream has been sitting under the sink in my bathroom for at least ten years and I really don’t know why I’ve been ignoring it so I felt this morning I had to give it a spin and I’m happy I did because honestly, it’s a VERY good cream. It’s very popular in India where it’s from, it has a medicinal type of scent which is actually quite pleasant, a couple of small dabs on my chin gives me such awesome lather that’s so damned THICK, rich, slick as well as protective, it has a good amount of menthol in it, and it leaves my skin feeling very comfortable. The Prep and the Aqua Velva aftershave completed the job perfectly - oh, how can I forget the delightful Bleu de Chanel fragrance? It’s a miracle that the Wilkinson Sword blade lasted for three passes because it’s pretty much at the end but it gave me one last hoorah with a great BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

Enjoy your day and your shaves - be well and safe![IMG]

Jifuli Alumnum razor, Bic Chrome Platinum (4)

This would be a great medium aggression razor if it only clamped the blade at least half way decently. As it is, there's very little clamping going on, and a lot of blade flex and chatter. They need to redesign the head.

My first shave with this razor and a fresh Indian Astra SP was rather unpleasant. In part because I had a two day stubble which doesn't work well for blade chatter, in part because I am not used to ultralight razors and was applying too much pressure.

This time, I had a one-day stubble and was watching my pressure very closely, working in short light strokes, and got a decent BBS quality shave. Still, I'd be lying if I claimed that I enjoyed using it as much as, say, my Maggard V3A. Need to figure the way to clamp the blade better without increasing the gap.
