Prep: Warm shower:/Bulldog Original Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Vie-Long 21mm Horse hair.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Arko Cool Shaving Cream.
Blade: KCG. (D2)
Razor: Baili BD177 Rose Gold TTO.

Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Arko Cool After Shave-Cologne + ASB.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

A wonderful performance from the Chinese Gillette super speed clone & KCG blade duo.

I haven't gave my Vie-Long horse hair brush a run out for a while and forgot how much backbone the brush has with the softness of the tips. I find you get the best from them using the "brushing strokes" method when lathering to prevent tangles in the knot.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Arko Fresh ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Here my Sunday Shave (14.04.2024)


Razor: FaTip Gentile Lo Storto // Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium // Soap: SV Felce Aromatica // Brush: Omega Elite GT Series „Gulf“ // Aftershave: Alum - Thayers WH - Floid Genuine

Today the Omega Gulf had it´s premiere. And what a good one it was. The knot is silky, dense and has just the right amount of backbone for me. Lathered up the wonderful smelling soap nicely and easy. Too early to say more about this beauty but so far i can tell that i really like it.

The razor was a gift and this one had it´s premiere also today. Nice little tool. No problems with blade alignment here. The shave itself went well. The Lo Storto is very thoroughly but being mild at the same time. I just needed 2-passes with minor touch ups to be completely BBS.

THe Alum was quite a bit noticeable but not much. Applied the Thayers Witch Hazel and after that the Floid gave me that great feeling with it´s Menthol and this wonderful scent.

A great great shave which was nothing than a 10 out of 10

Holy Mackerel this was a lulu of a Grand Freeze even if I say so myself. I don’t know how Jaco was able to get so much menthol into this soap without drowning out the beautiful scent and without ruining the lather but he did it. This soap is glycerine based, if you like the smell of exotic coffee and peppermint then you’ll love this scent, it gives FANTASTIC lather that’s full of slickness, the menthol sensation is totally off the charts to the point where it’s a match for any of the Stirling Glacials or the Chiseled Face Cryogen, or most of my other hyper mentholated soaps, and it gives wonderful skincare. The Stoffel balm is another menthol atom bomb with a really nice peppermint scent and is it ever soothing as well as moisturizing. The Snake Bite aftershave is pretty much unscented and it freezes like there’s no tomorrow. Finally, the gorgeous Bleu de Chanel fragrance and I’m good to go. Not even a professional barber could have given me a better shave than this - three glorious passes and I ended up so BBS!

The Colgate Shaving Mug Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #434 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher Razor and a Star Wedge blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
