    Days growth = 2

    Prep = HOT water soak x 3
    Preshave = TOBS Jermyn Street
    Cream = TOBS Oud
    Brush = Semogue Owner’s Club 1032 finest badger
    Bowl = Timeless
    Razor = 1963 Adjustable Gillette Slim I4 set at @6
    Blade = Astra SS (3)
    Passes = 2 +
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers,
    ASL = Proraso Barbe Dure with 5 drops of Oud Wood
    Scent = Black Oud EdP (Oud, Sandalwood, Patchouli) more subtle than the Red Musk
    Score = 9+++

    Damage = nil

    Thoughts = Easy, clean, wonderful Sunday shave, 95% BBS. Despite day 3 the Astra SS did a great job with a nice smooth shave. A rest day yesterday and a thorough hot water prep made all the difference

    Have some Super Slick Sunday Shaves gents

    Thanks Chris. My first shave left me with a smooth and comfortable mug. No boo-boos, and the alum was quiet. I didn't get greedy with the touch-ups after two passes. I will need a few more shaves to become comfortable with the grip. You have to use both hands (or sit the razor down) when you want to use the opposite side of the blade. The grip was good, even with damp fingertips.

    It's a fun little razor that demands a lot of respect. I'll continue using it for awhile to get the hang of it.

    That might be the coolest razor I've ever seen. It's the ultimate travel razor!:)

    I'm actually guessing it could work pretty well. It looks easy to put the right amount of pressure on it. But I could also be very wrong about that.

    Go easy and have some fun with it!
