Well, I think this unique brush rack is a stroke of genius.

Two Simpson brushes were hanging out on the rack, and one said to the other, "Primo said he only used me to whip up vintage Williams, but that's not true. It was just a lye."

I'm bristling with more brush puns, but now is knot the time to share them. Maybe lather.

OK, stick with me, and I'll branch out with some wood puns. Maple you'll laugh at these.

If the shelf is made of knotty pine, I could get on-board with it. It really could spruce up your den, fir sure.

But if the thing collapses and the razors fall to the floor, you'd only have your shelf to blame.

Lastly, it could prove to be a noose-ance when you reach for a brush. As they say, no noose is good noose.

You already tried to ban me this month, so I'm exempt for the next 30 days. Mos def.

It was a cold, blustery day today. Unseasonally so. I pulled the Autumn Glory as a result. Such an enjoyable shave…everything worked as it should.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that I had the pleasure of meeting Gary’s wife today. Gary messaged me last night to let me know that his wife was in town (from across the province) for a store opening. I swung by after work…what a friendly and nice lady. Gary married up.:happy097:
    Take care all.

The search for the next 3017 is ongoing. Choices, choices. I want something that is at least 1/2 empty, excellent performance but will not compel me to replace it immediately. I want to reduce my absurd amount of soaps.

In the awesome soap bowl is new puck of Electric Sheep, great stuff but the puck is more than 90%.
    J - 4.jpeg

DR Harris Arlington cream is a favorite for sure, it has maybe a third less and the scent is perfect for warmer weather. I would feel compeled at some time in the future to replace it but I think I could out for a while. This is definately a candidate for 3017.
    J - 5.jpeg

Just add a few drops of lanolin and this is an amazing performer. Plus the MdC Fogere is a top scent. While has about a 1/3 left I would feel a strong desire to replace it right away. I have not been purhcasing many razors or soaps the past two years except for Tabac tallow in preparation for the shaveapocolips. To support the very few local vendors I could not help but take advantage of sale for this Dovo 6/8 razor. I decided to give the factory edge a shot, I was shocked as the edge was fantastic. So much for the conventional wisdom new Dovo razprs need to be honed.
    J - 1.jpeg

Awesome sauce is great name for this soap. I enjoy this one in the summer but with 90% left it will likley not be the next 3017 target,
    J - 3.jpeg

In support of the local vendor I also picked up a tub of Tabla Rossa. Wow, what an awesome soap and scent. This baby is just out of the gate so likely not a contender for the 3017 but I look forward to using it again and again.
