Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 11137.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: LEA Classic Sensitive Shaving Cream.
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum. (D3)
Razor: Ming Shi 2000s Futur clone. (Settings) 3-wtg,4-atg,+pick ups.

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils, 5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Floid Mentolado Vigoroso ASL./Bulldog Original ASB.

Another eclectic shave set up where everything paired together wonderfully.

The LEA Classic Sensitive Shaving Cream which I haven't used in some time created a wonderful lather in a short space of time.

The sandalwood scent is different comparing it to the Proraso sandalwood scent it's more of a light fresh sweet scent to my nose with a nice mild menthol kick feel and pairs together really well with the Floid ASL.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Bulldog Original ASB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #446 Boar/Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Frankenskeene Razor and the Ever-Ready Radio Steel blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

SOTD, Tuesday, May 14th 2024

Razor : Yaqi 2nd Generation Mellon 316 SSP head with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2023>, mid range. Excellent machining and finish QC with excellent design. Audio feedback is unique (sizzling sound when snipping whiskers) is the best way to describe it. I have found it a good top rotation razor in my shave den and one of my better purchases over the years.
Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning.
Blade : GSB (3) sharp and smoooth with reasonable longevity. Top tier blade IMO.
Soap : Razorock Irish countryside, interesting unique scent with some of the best lather qualities i have used.
Brush : Yaqi "Rainbow" 26mm brown whiskers synthetic. Excellent lather generator, luxury heavenly cloud like soft tips, nice gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Irish Countryside splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Yaqi 2nd Gen Mellon head with a GSB blade. I receive nice shaves with this razor !

This Junjie DE is surprisingly efficient in spite of how mild it is and the funny part is I paid just a couple of bucks for it. I enjoyed the Vintage Spice soap so much - my Yaqi Barber Pole synthetic churned up fabulous lather from it, its delightful Shulton Old Spice scent was ever present, and the postshave feeling was so comfortable as well as soothing. The Aloe Vesta moisturizer works great as a balm because it’s unscented, and the Vintage Spice aftershave went on with zero sting or burn because it’s witch hazel based - the scent is a perfect substitute for the Shulton Old Spice and it has terrific longevity. Three glorious passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that was fit for a king!
