@Primotenore and @brit I have a stupid question. What is the difference between the OC Aristocrat Razor and the Gillette Sheraton and Senator razors?
the sheraton and senator razors use the same head design.as the u.s 1936 OC aristocrat,36-39.just different handles/plating.in 1940 safety bars replaced the combs(ranger/milord) and the aristocrat got a new handle design.the 1934 aristocrat has a slightly different head design.thinner or thicker head and different center bar.
Sunday, May 19 ETHOS Lavender Suprême~~DG B14 Washington~~Cobra Classic/Schick Proline~~Old Spice Lime ASPushed the remaining soap towards the middle of the bowl. No more donut hole. Loaded heavy (what else is new?) with the B14. Took it directly to the face. This is a wonderfully, soft knot and really covers some territory. The Cobra Classic has one negative...the handle it quite slick. No doubt why the King Cobra came along. The OS Lime is a beaut.
Great looking shave. The CC might have a slick handle but I still think it is one of the coolest looking razors ever made.

May 19, 2024 Timeless Aluminum Gillette 7 O’clock Black Semogue Torga C5 Master Soap Creations Frosted Bay Rum Ogallala Bay Rum Cologne with Menthol Happy Sunday Everyone! We had a rainy stormy Saturday here in the ATL. Swati and I dog sat Cody, Maya's retired racing greyhound. Cody is not a fan of thunder at all so he spent most of the night hiding in my closet. Greyson, my whippet kept checking on him. Altogether it made for a long night for me. I ended up having a dram of some good Irish Whiskey. The shave this morning was a welcome face freeze. I think Maya and I will take the boys out for a walk in park later this afternoon. Take care and have a great day.
I like the Torga pretty well Gary. The short loft is fine and I like the scrub as well. I just tend to use brushes with bigger knots.
After a weekend using some soap variety it is back to the 3017, Razo Rock. I am using scooping soap out instead of loading directly, delaying the donut of death. The big Art razor is edge is falling off a little bit so, it will visit the pasted strops before it is back in the rotation. Wishing everyone a happy and productive week.
