Happy Tuesday Everyone! I am feeling a bit off today. I woke up with a breakthrough migraine. I took some meds that seem to be helping some. Honestly the shower and shave seemed to help about as much. So far I am using just under 4.5 grams per shave with this soap. I would really like to finish it before the end of June. I'll reach 32 consecutive daily shaves with my Bigelow-Parkin travel razor tomorrow, and then it will take a much-needed vacation. It is now fairly intuitive to use. It requires a bit more concentration than a DE, and it provides some wonderful shaves. I've had a total of maybe 3 polka dots and one small nick due to operator error. It slipped out of my wet hand once and landed in the sink...I now keep a towel handy to dry my fingers after rinsing the razor head. I am nearing the finish of my Proraso cream jugding the by size of the donut hole in the container.

Migraines suck. Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you Joseph. Since I home today, I took a chance and used the Oud EDP you recommended. It is not nearly as striking after yesterday's test. I am finding it dries down to a very pleasant earthy scent akin to vetiver but much darker. Forgive me but I am not very good at describing scents.

My "Oud Boys" will go to work for me for my next 3 shaves. It never occurred to me to compare Oud to Vetiver, but that doesn't mean it's impossibles to do so(how's that for a double-negative @Primotenore? Actually I'd call that a TRIPLE negative).

@Primotenore While the Oud is very strong on application, once it has dried. down the scent is very nice. I took your advise and layered it. I did not have anything rose scented so I used Agua Lavanda which worked out nicely.

I am. after all, a Professor of Stankology.

I already look like @wristwatchb, now I favor The Stank Man. Who else do I look like around here???????????

It was good seeing you this week at Piggly Wiggly, Paul. Sorry I missed a spot on Cactus Nation, but at least I remembered to wear a watch.

Clint, I see you've been hooked by our very own Sultan of Stink. @Primotenore graciously sent me a few different Oud scents as well. If I remember correctly, the one you are using is straight-up Oud. Layering this one would make it even better. A couple of others he sent me had both Oud and rose notes, and those were my favorites. Enjoy them!
