    No problem, Chris.

I don't know whwere I bought my Parker Adjustable, but I bought all my Supply stuff directly from the company website's online shop. They ship worldwide (and show prices in any currency you want) - www.supply.co .

Just FYI - To reduce the international shipping cost sting when I bought the replacement SE plate for my older model razor, I added in their four different scents of shaving creams and balms and some other stuff. Incidentally, their shaving creams and matching splashes are excellent quality artisan-type products too. And I think they have added more scents than the original four too.

Having excellent aesthetics and colour coordination for the picture is definitely a critical component for any shave, Gary! Even your Emden geese would agree with you on that one, and as anyone can tell from *their* photos, they are rarely agreeable. ;)

That's a gorgeous Bostonian set. I have an American one, but it looks like it went through one of the Wars on the losing side. My recollection is that it is somewhere between the earliest Gillette open combs and the Aristocrat on the aggressiveness scale, right?

Today's shave stuff (and probably every shave to monthend and beyond:

    IMG_20240504_233324_kindlephoto-963676277.jpg

I am continuing the Test Plan, now on durability. I am using my preferred injector, the Supply 2.0 retrofitted with the SE comb plate, for the rest of these Test matches. (Not a cricket player or fan, really, so if I didn't get that reference quite right, I apologize to any fanatics who read this.)

Oh, btw, Chris @ChrisB, the thicker middle section of the Supply razor in my photo is a silicon sleeve that Supply Co sells as an add-on accessory for their older model razors or the SE (doesn't fit the Pro). The metal handle provides a good grip anyway, but the sleeve makes it slip-proof. Inexpensive and definitely worth it.

    Anyway, back to the shave...

This was shave 4 on the vintage Schick blade; about 10 to go.

The Arko stick and synthetic brush created a quick and plentiful lather, as usual. I then did my two standard passes of WTG on the face and ATG on the neck, then XTG on the face and WTG on the neck.

The two passes resulted in an error-free DFS. I had no nicks, cuts or visible razorburn, the alum was silent, and I had no need for any post-shave products.

Hope everyone is at the hump of a very good week!

    Thank you, gentlemen!

Actually, Gary, I have a couple Gillette Old Types (one Single Ring three-piece like the Bostonians and one Ball End), an English Aristocrat Jr and a modern Fatip Grande in my wooden test tube rack of ready-use razors. When I am done playing around with the injector blades, I should compare their shaves for myself again.
