Here my Wednesday Shave (05.06.2024)


Razor: Gillette Ball-End Tech // Blade: Gillette Wilkinson India // Soap: Barrister and Mann Spice (sample) // Brush: Ever-Ready N40 // Aftershave: Alum - Old Spice (Shulton)

B&M Spice…WHAT A FANTASTIC SCENT!!! Wow!!! Cannot tell you how much this scent „flashed“ me. For me THE best Old Spice clone íve ever smelled so far. I love Endurance from Soap Commander and Cold Spices from PAA but this…is different. In every positive aspect.

Right amount of scent strength, the lather was fantastic (even the B&M lather gets not that voluminous as many other brands) but cushion and glide are truly awesome.

So the razor had no problems gliding through my whiskers. Thoroughly and gentle. 3 passes and i was done. I wished the shave would take longer because of this wonderful scent…

As Aftershave i first applied the Alum block which had a little bite to it and after that I splashed on my Shulton Old Spice. What a terrific pairing. The Shulton Old Spice smells SO MUCH better than the actual one from P&G, there are worlds between them.

I had a great great shave.

Nothing less than 10 out of 10

May I comment-isn't the Shulton the "actual"Old Spice? Great report, nonetheless.

 

Shave #18. The edge is holding up well on this Non-JMP Fili. Honed with very flat stones.
I had a very smooth 2 pass shave with zero issues, on 6 days of growth. Excellent razor

The Goodfellas' Smile Abysso Shaving Soap & ASL duo which provided me with an exceptional shave the lathering performance of the Abysso shaving soap is superb providing a great slick protective wonderfully scented lather in a short space of time. The matching ASL finishes the shave off excellently.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.

The De Vergulde Hand Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #449 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the SHaDE-Matic razor and the Half Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Derby City Chop Shop Winter Reserve After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
