  8. Kathy and I were blessed to meet @Jayaruh and his dear Bride last week. I confirmed what I already knew. Jim is a great guy, a humble (yet expert) woodworker, and a walking Encyclopedia Britannica when it comes to any sort of shaving tool. Jim gave me the grand tour of his amazing razor and brush collection while Kathy visited with his Bride. He even took us to a local ice cream shop where they serve homemade ice cream and made-to-order hot donuts!

And believe it or not, Jim was clean, smooth, and refreshed.... the whole time.

I left Jim with some goodies, including a few wood pieces that may end up as shaving brush handles or razor boxes. He is kindly crafting me a 400 style brush handle made of wenge wood with a Maggard's synthetic knot. I've grown to enjoy synthetics, so I'm sure this brush will serve me well and look super cool.

  9. I've enjoyed watching and listening to Jim's shave videos.
You're talkinabout the Lime Cologne, right? Or does the A.S. have that, too?
  10. Sounds like a great trip Charlie. The brush is gorgeous.
