June 7, 2024 Gillette Senator Gillette 7 O’clock Omega GT Series Synthetic Master Soap Creations Frosted Bay Rum Ogallala Bay Rum Cologne with Menthol Happy Friday at last! My latest razor acquisition arrived yesterday and I had to give it a go this morning. This is a nickel revamp Gillette Senator from Razor Emporium. I noticed that the picture makes the the top cap look like it has spots or something. This must be a reflection as the razor is fantastic. I knew the razor would look good but it shaves better than I anticipated. Color me impressed. Take care and have a great day everyone.

Friday, June 7 Macduffs Prairie Blooms~~Simpson CH2~~Fatip Lo Storto Originale/Sharp Star~~The Veg I don't know why more people aren't talking about this soap company? This is probably the finest, new artisan soap I have tried in a VERY long time. Prairie Blooms is a Lilac-scented soap and the aroma of fresh lilacs is stunning. The soap base is soft, so scooping/bowl-lathering is recommended. Takes a lot of water and the results are extreme slickness and positively wonderful post-shave. Kudos to this company out of Alberta, Canada.
It is time to get some variety and pick my next 3017 target. PAA Awesome Sauce with their CK-6 formula is one of my favorites, maybe because is reminds me of Proraso. In the beautiful wooden bowl is Stirling Electric Sheep, another favorite of mine. Smiling razor week continues with a 7 layer Damascus from Drew Dick and hammom blade from Ali's Blade and his homage to the famous SK-3. Smiling Saturday featured a smiling Herr and Razor blade, Steam Punk my only soap purchase in eons and one I am very happy with and yes that is Clubman in glass. Alas if only there was Piggly Wiggly in Seoul.

Saturday, June 8 Fine Italian Citrus~~Simpson X3 SiLVERTiP~~Fatip Lo Storto Originale/Sharp Star~~Acqua di Parma I clearly haven't decided on my next 3017, as I am having some fun re-visiting some old friends. The vintage Fine soap has a nice, albeit light AdP scent. It's probably their "weakest" scent---not quality, but strength. If you want a better AdP clone, I would strongly recommend RazoRock XXX. The Colonia (which means "cologne", among other things) finish is perfect for the summer.

June 8, 2024 Gillette Senator Gillette 7 O’clock Yellow Zenith B29 Boar Master Soap Creations Frosted Bay Rum Barberry Coast Bay Rum Aftershave Davidoff Cool Water EdT Happy Saturday Everyone! Greyson and I got up and went for a walk early this morning. He loves to think he is going to get the squirrels while they are out on the sidewalks. He almost got one in our back yard last week. Another fantastic shave to start the day. I am really enjoying this soap and anticipate adding other Master Soap Creations to my den in time. Finished off the shave with Davidoff Cool Water EdT. This was a gift from the girls at least 15 years ago and is such a classic. I should wear it more often. Take care and have a great day.

I am surprised, AdP is tame choice given your various stanks. I am a fan of AdP in when the weather gets warm.
