It's good, it has a unique texture to it, goes on thick, waters down nicely for the later passes.

Certainly looks the part. Much heavier?

    Thanks Gary

very cool, very neat setup. Enjoying the latest PR Haul? (azure lime)

    Thank you Joe

Thanks Joe, surprised at the single passer. They don't come by often!

Sounds like a feast is on the way, have a great Saturday celebration Joe

    Greetings,

    (Face & Head Shave)

Another new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend.

It's been a while since I used the Pearlman Shaver's spirit soap is good shaving soap... It's very slick, protective with a fresh mild masculine fragrance which lingers throughout the shave and beyond creating a wonderful lather in a short space of time leaving a good post shave feel too.

Another close comfortable efficient combined face & head shave with no errors to report.;)

Finishing the shave off with few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Not a GREAT shave as I closed out(until next Fall)the Bill Neumann Heartwood team, but could have been much worse. Nice work alongside the cheeks&sideburns, as well as North Porcupine(just under the nose). A cut at South Porcupine(chin)and one at Cactus Nation(neck). Perhaps too many strokes in those areas. I was hoping the Heartwood A.S. would "save" me. It did get rid of the Cactus problem, but left a little redness at the chin(although it looked better than before use). 2 passes. Overall, I will give this an Extremely Average mark. Shux.

Last night I came across 2 colognes I hadn't used in a real long time. I threw out my current one, and, with the arrival of my order from The Perfect Spot on Monday, will have a total of 3(count'em 3, that's right 3)colognes. Won't need another one, that's a fact

    Today's shave stuff:

    IMG_20240504_233324_kindlephoto-963676277.jpg

I was going to start switching up soaps and brushes. However, after showering this morning, I had five minutes free before I had to start answering phones and I wanted a shave. So I grabbed what was readily available - the same stuff I have used for the last month - and went with that.

Five minutes later, I was finished. The Arko lathered quickly and well, and the usual two passes had me back to cleanshaven. No errors, alum was a little warm in places but mostly silent.

Rinse off the tools and back to work...

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

    Good afternoon

    Suneko 1/2 DE Blade (7)
    Stirling Boar Brush
Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Personal Care Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 22.5 hrs

I had used this shavette 2 days ago. Since I got a super shave the last time, I figured why not use it again. Did three error-free passes for a BBS shave. This Suneko blade is still sharp after 7 uses. That's simply amazing.

I picked the Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender because it has a wonderful scent and the lather is just flat out awesome. I went a little overboard with the lather, but it's not a big deal because I have enough soap to last me a few years. That's the beauty of this hobby.. Lol! Here's my lather:

    20240608_165203.jpg

The alum feedback was quite negligible. Splashed on the witch hazel and the matching aftershave and I am good to go. Take care.
