It's here. Now I've got some test shaving to do. To whomever stripped the red tip down to brass...that is so cool!
Side by side, the Robin Snap 2.0 is more aggressive than my Pal Adjustable set wide open. It's beautifully made and as efficient as you'd want but between the Pal, the 1924, and the Neillite 400, I just don't have a need for another aggressive razor. I hope it finds a good home.
I never found the Neillite 400 to be aggressive, for me in different, though I have one because I like bakelite razors. As to the red tip ..... I enjoy the shave and the weight, but I think I already have two. I don't own any snap razors, I just find it a novelty to make a DE go on a diet.
I asked the company about that and the said to loosen the handle 1/4 turn or so and that would increase the effectiveness or aggressiveness if you like that term.
I stopped using the black handled razor, which I believe is an Assured razor, and switched the the EJ DE89 that found a new home with me. Night and day difference and the De89 is a really a nice shaver.
I originally thought of making it work as a standard DE handle, but sat long enough to need a new home.
