The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #450 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1905 Gillette Double Ring and the Nacet Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I really wanted to like that shave soap. Indeed, I had a number of them over the years, but I couldn't get a slick 'n shiny lather. It always was too "foamy". Do you have good luck building the lather?

Oh my goodness I have a Glacial Iceberg Island soap on the way to me along with one of each of the other new Glacial soaps.

The scent of the Electric Sheep, whether Glacial or regular seems to be either love or hate. I love it but I know other guys who hate it.

Awesome shave Karl!

It’s funny because every time I use the Frosted Lavender soap and aftershave I get a menthol blast that can freeze a polar bear’s ass off!

If you like a glycerine based scent with a beautiful coffee/fruity scent then this Impi soap from Bundubeard is for you. My dear brother Jaco is another bona fide Grand Master of shaving soaps, bath soaps, and aftershaves. The Impi gave me tons of thick, rich, creamy, slick lather, there’s a mild but pleasant menthol sensation, and it’s so skin friendly. The Boomslang 1 balm smells so much like Brut, it’s extremely moisturizing and soothing with a little kiss of menthol. Being an old school wetshaver how can I not love the smell of Brut? Surprisingly enough the Wilkinson Sword blade on its thirteenth day help me get a cracking good BBS shave that was so pleasurable!

DE SOTD, Tuesday, June 11th 2024

Razor : Razorock second Generation Lupo.72 316 SSP, Released Jan 2021>, mid range. Excellent machining & finish + design for under the nose area. Checks all the boxes for my technique and desired shaving results! Had a close and comfortable stellar shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette Astra SP(3) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Razorock M.F, nice masculine scented cologne type fragrance with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Deep Stones" 24mm boss synthetic. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Nice brush other the dark colors IMO.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock M.F splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable Stellar shave this morning with my RR Lupo.72 with a Gillette Astra SP blade. Very nice shave this morning to start the day off.
