    Hi Friends,

Here my Shave of the Day (07.07.2024)

    IMG_3549.jpeg
Razor: RazoRock Hawk V3 // Blade: Feather Pro Super // Soap: PAA Briar // Brush: Doriancrafts // Aftershave: Alum - Ebenholz Aftershave Balm

I hope you ´re doing fine.

Had a wonderful shave. From start to finish top notch.

Lathered up the wonderful smelling Briar soap in my Fine Lather Bowl which i love. So easy and fast to create great lather.

The Briar scent is definitely Tobacco which just a hint of smoke, added with some kind of woodsy notes, is this scent REALLY a calming and enjoyable scent. Great.

Used the Feather Pro Super in the Hawk which gave me an nice and easy 2-pass BBS shave with no nicks, cuts, irritations whatsoever.

Applied the Alum Block which only had minor stinging to it and lacking of the matching AS Splash i used my Ebenholz Balm which is a huge contrast to the soap due it´s fruity notes. But the scent disappears really quickly so that it is not a problem. Skincare of the Balm is absolutely fabulous.

    10 out of 10

Have great time, enjoy your shaves and stay safe and healthy.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

Hot & humid on this Sunday summer morning. Green & fresh scents all around to combat the heat to come. Great shaves to all....

The Proraso Red Sandalwood Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #224 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.A. Henckels Rapide Lather Catcher and the J.A. Henckels Rapide wedge blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Clubman Pinaud Classic Vanilla After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Didn't the Barbasol used to be called "Pacific Blue" before "Cool Menthol"? I like the latter better.

Back 9 of the Barbasol/Skin Bracer combination this morning. With this heat, I might as well have shaved with Clubman. Naaah, I learned my lesson a few summers ago as I was "dripping aftershave" from the Clubman. But the Barbasol gave me a real nice shave this morning-clean and clear all around with goose-eggs on the cuts/Knicks, Polka-dots. One pass. Good work from the Skin-Bracer A.S. No cologne today. As Outstanding As It Gets.

The Wee Scot made a last minute appearance in my Sunday shave. This little brush definitely punches above its weight.
