This is still one of my wifes favorite scents on me.. I wore it when we met and when I brought her a dozen roses and asked her out for the first time and she has liked it every since then......
My husband has a couple of favorites. One is a blend of bergamot & black pepper. The other is a blend of cedar wood & blue spruce. I make both of these for him. It’s not actually very hard to do. I call the woodsy one “Canadian Wilderness”…a name inspired by a song of that name. I haven’t come up with a goof name for the bergamot & black pepper blend. I am open to suggestion.
Back to work Monday. A bit of classic with modern twists that still evokes a classy gentleman vibe in the heat. Signature of the day...
This was my father-in-law’s signature scent. I have his last bottle of the stuff on the shelf with my aftershaves, but don’t ever use it. For me, the scented aftershave I’ve used most of all is Harris’ Arlington (Gayle liked it), which makes me think perhaps I should buy a bottle of the cologne, but she’s not here to appreciate it, so what’s the point, right? I’m recently enjoying DRH Bay Rum and there’s a bottle of Barrister and Mann bay rum (with a few other items) on the ups truck headed my way right now. Can’t wait!
I almost lost my wife over the last week (unexpected serious illness) though doing much better now. While she was in the hospital I wore all the scents she really likes, regardless whether or not I was around her.
