The Williams Mug Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #454 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick 66 G-4 Injector razor and the Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

What can I say - this Electric Sheep is so awesome. The scent to me is beautiful, its mutton tallow formula promotes such fantastic lather that’s so slick, and it has a very soothing sensation both during and after a shave. The Proraso Blue balm leaves my skin feeling so moisturized and comfortable while the Island Man aftershave smells so gorgeous - if that’s what Creed Virgin Island Water smells like then it’s wowwwwww. What a super super three pass BBS shave this was - the Wilkinson Sword blade earned its retirement after two weeks of diligent service.

Razor : Razorock Lupo.72, Mfg 2021>, mid range. Excellent machining and finish QC, works very well on my beard type.
Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Perma-Sharp(2) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Cyril R Salter wild rose cream. Interesting scent of a garden roses + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Aqua" 24mm high mountain 3band silvertip. Excellent lather generator, pillow soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : witch hazel cleanse + Nivea Ever fresh + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my RR Lupo.72 razor with a Perma-sharp blade.

I would decant that Clubman out the window. In fairness, I never tried it, but I fear the clove factor in the thing.

 

Here's a change I made to tomorrow's shave (sorry, likers).

Prep-Stoylin Liquid Bodywash(Ozark Mtn)...*

*-2012(course the Bodywashes came later after Doc Ezlovan opened his company, but we wouldn't have the bodywash had he not done so). The Stoylin came today, along with the Glacial Iceberg Island. No one informed me it would be here today. Glad tbey're here, though.

 

you know the old adage..don't knock it...it's ok.it'a an interpretation of what bay rum smells like..i really liked the Ogallala bay rum to be honest,but my wife dislikes it.i had the set and passed it on.

 

Ogallala's been on my mind, but again, the clove persuasion. Maybe I'll look at it again, or buy another Ogallala.

 

buy the ogallalaskip the clubman.for me it was a one off,just to have a splash that matched my col conk bay rum soap..neither are a favorite,just something i tried and won't repurchase.
