Tuesday, July 9 Stirling Bonaparte~~Simpson "Rover"~~Gillette New LC/Sharp Star Decided to build the lather directly on the puck and got much better results. Right now, this is the only Stirling soap in my arsenal. The quality is excellent and the post-shave is impressive. The AS splash goes on with gusto, but dissipates quickly. The ASB, however, does keep my kisser feeling silky.

July 12, 2024 Wolfman WR1 OC SS (0.61mm) Gillette 7 O’clock black Rudy Vey Rover with Muhle STF SV Manna di Sicilia Soap and After Shave Happy Friday!!! Swati and I are back home safely. We had a great time on this trip and both really maximized the downtime to stay unplugged from work ( almost completely). I even took a break from shaving only shaving 3 times over 15 days. Both Swati and I agreed, that at 7 days, it was time to shave or commit to growing a beard. Using up shaving soap won out. Back on the 3017 train with the SV soap. I will be using the WR1 OC SS. This was my first Wolfman razor I got when James first started out. I find the razor to be a very smooth, forgiving and efficient razor. Take care and have a great day.
Thank you Charlie. We had a fantastic time. Swati and I both love Barcelona and enjoyed spending time in the city before the cruise. We both absolutely loved Portugal, Porto in particular and hope to return for a longer visit. No shaving goodies, I did not want to haul the stuff around and back home. Saturday, July 13 Vintage Williams~~Hucklaration B5~~Gillette #44 RFB/Sharp Star~~Florida Water Far too hot to use the Bonaparte. Instead, I lathered up with the heavily mentholated vintage Williams. Excellent shave with the RFB. Finished the shave with another über-mentholated product: Florida Water.
Sunday, July 14 Figaro Sapone Speciale~~Semogue TSN Final Edition 1/50~~1941 Gillette Ranger Tech/Sharp Star~~Vintage Old Spice Toilet Water The Figaro is the original P.160. Great soap. This is a bottle of Shulton's Early American Old Spice Toilet Water. Originally marketed to women, this is the same Old Spice men have used for many years. I'll pick my next 3017 this week.
