Face Lather.
Lather: Erasmic Shaving Soap Bowl.
Blade: Feather Hi Stainless. (D2)
Razor: 1970's Gillette Aluminium Handle Tech S4. (ENG)

Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./ Brut Oceans ASL./Bulldog Original Moisturiser.

Early morning shave,

My focus this month with my Gillette & Wilkinson Sword razors has been a joy. The 1970's Gillette Aluminium Handle Tech S4 / Feather Hi Stainless blade is the best I've tried to date. A close comfortable shave to finish my shaving week off superbly.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Bulldog Original Moisturiser.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.

Face brush-washed with Van der Hagen Natural brush and Stirling Mentholated Shave Soap
Gillette Slim, setting 5 initially, then setting 7
Astra Superior Stainless, 1st shave
Barbasol Pacific Rush with Caffeine and Menthol
Stirling Pro-Handle synthetic brush
Aqua Velva Ice Blue

METHODOLOGY: Above-jawline WTG; below-jawline XTG; full-face ATG; below-jawline 2nd ATG
SHAVE CLOSENESS: Excellent, just barely missed being BBS
SHAVE COMFORT: Excellent, as if there wasn't a blade in the razor
NICKS/IRRITATION: None
SHAVE LONGEVITY: Excellent. Shave looked great 10 hours later
FRAGRANCE LONGEVITY: Velva typically fades away in 90 minutes for me.
OVERALL: The Astra SS was as smooth as butter from the very first swipe. Nice!
COMMENTS: I was really looking forward to the Astra SS coming up for its turn in my blade rotation, and I sure wasn't disappointed today. Today's shave was absolutely delightful: smooth, comfortable, and carefree. If I had to choose just one razor blade to keep on hand, Astra SS might be the one I'd go with.

The Colgate Shaving Mug Soap lathered well with the B-3 Red and Black Badger Brush by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the Red and Black OT by Tom and the Nacet Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Clubman Special Reserve After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Very cool looking razor. With which razors could you compare this with? More on the "Rockwell 6S on Plate 3 or 4" side or more on the "R41" side, because it has a lot of blade exposure as it seems on your pic.

Probably closer to the Rockwell 6S on Plate 3, but still quite efficient. Would make a good daily driver, Plus IMHO, the heavy handle contributes to it's efficiency.
