    Shaving Recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Bulldog Peppermint & Eucalyptus Shower Gel.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush : Yaqi 24mm Naples Tuxedo Synthetic.
    Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
    Lather: MWF.
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) Blue pack. (D1)
    Razor: Baili BD191.

    Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Paco Rabanne Pour Homme ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

    Greetings,

A new eclectic shave set up to start the Weekend...The MWF as always provided me with a wonderful protective slick lather for the shave leaving an excellent post shave feel.

In addition to my Gillette super speeds clones I've added another two clone razors to my month focus the Baili BD191 & Kanzy K100/Baili BD176 what I like about both of these razors is the 'closed tech type head', the top cap holds the blade firmly reducing blade chatter to minimum with no blade over-hang of the blade ends which are very comfortable to shave with additional protection of catching my ear lobes or under my nose when shaving.

Starting with the Baili BD191 paired up with Treet Dura sharp which made a comfortable efficient duo.

Another close comfortable combined face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

Pretty good shave this morning, but the redness at Cactus Nation simply stumped me. I was left to conclude that either I didn't have enough soap on that particular area of the Nation(upper left)or I just went a little too hard there. I did fine everywhere else, but I have a lot to think about when I get back at it tomorrrow(with the same arsenal as today). I need to do a second round of loading (before the second pass)to get more soap there.A former member here(now deceased)advised me that one was enough-no need to go back in thr soap. As for going too hard, that's the area where I angle the razor down-maybe I focused too much on the angljng persuasion. That taught me to go easier with it from the opposite side. The Gabel's "drops of" Lime A.S. felt good....may have saved me from more damage at NW Cactus. One Man Show cologne to close. Pretty Outstanding(as I said, I did fine outside of NW Cactus). But a lot to learn, to figure out

    SRS # 1146 - Shave-stick Saturday - Arko

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: ERN 1820 5/8”
Brush: Dogwood Handcrafts 26 mm Tuxedo
    Pre-Shave: Pears Transparent Soap
    Lather: Arko Stick
    Aftershave: PAA Amalfi 3K
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Excellent Arko shave this morning. The one advantage of using a shave stick is efficiency. If you need a quick shave, using the stick facilitates face lathering. While I prefer the bowl lathering process as it allows to get the lather the way I like, face lathering via the use of a shave-stick is an excellent option.

The Arko stick provided a slick lather. I managed to get three passes, courtesy of adding a little water to the brush to limit the drying out of the soap. The end result was a smooth and comfortable shave.

To combat the potential drying skin effect of the soap, the Stirling balm provides soothing moisture along with a menthol kick.

Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.

Wonderful Fat shave Barry. I need to bust out the Fat soon. Perhaps I will do a comparison shave, on two successive days, between the MWF and the Areffa soap (Bear Fat) to compare the post shave feel of each. I am very impressed with the bear fat base.
