It’s been almost a week since I posted here because I’ve been so damned busy but here I am again. The 7 AM blades I’ve been using are so crummy - after two or three shaves they become so dull and tuggy because of my tough stubble so this morning I changed to an Astra Green blade and I got fantastic results. The Glacial Cedar soap and aftershave smell so beautiful - the soap lathers like a champ, it’s full of slickness, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the postshave care is wonderful. The Gold Bond moisturizer is so cooling as well as soothing, and the Glacial Cedar aftershave is another menthol atom bomb with the same gorgeous scent as the soap. Three passes gave such a dynamite BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

Lather: Eco Warrior Bergamot & lime Shaving Bar. (Old Recipe)
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) Blue pack. (D2)
Razor: 1970's Gillette Aluminium Handle Tech S4. (ENG)

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Yelken Turkish Lemon Eau De Cologne. /Aloe Vera Cooling Gel.

Relaxing Sunday Morning Shave.

The Eco Warrior shaving bar performed wonderfully this morning producing a slick protective lather in a short space of time.

The soap has a mild scent good texture & slickness it's protective leaving an impressive post shave feel. I've yet to try any of the new recipes of the Eco Warrior shaving bars, but by the negative comments and reviews I've read I'll give them a miss.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Cooling Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Here my Sunday Shave (11.08.2024)


Razor: Ronson Razor // Blade: Gillette Yellow // Soap: Tiki Spice Islands // Brush: Zwilling Black Fibre // Aftershave: Alum - Ebenholz Balm

A great 2-pass shave was had. Smooth and gentle. The Gillette Yellow pairs very well with the Razor. The Soap has lost quite a bit of it´s scent strength but it was definitely still noticeable. The BRush had no problems whipping it up to a very good lather.

After rinsing the Face, the Alum Block had almost no feedback. The Balm paired very well with the soap because the scent has these fruity notes too. For me, of one the best Balms out there. Highly recommended.

A 10 out of 10
