    The Col. Conk Lime Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #456 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher Razor and the Personna PTFE SE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Derby City Chop Shop Winter Reserve AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Sunday morning - vintage time:

    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Astra Green day 2
    Vintage Colgate Shaving Stick
    Gold Bond Moisturizer
    Stirling Island Man AS Splash

    This Colgate stick is either from Sweden or Denmark and if my memory serves me right it was made in the 50s. It’s the forerunner of the sadly discontinued Palmolive stick and I think I would do anything to get anything to get either of these sticks again. This one still has a bit of a soapy scent, it lathers beautifully, and the postshave feeling is great. The Gold Bond moisturizer and the lovely Island Man aftershave finished the job in fine style. Two passes gave me a super duper BBS shave that was so enjoyable!

    Sunday Schick Shave, August 12th 2024

    Razor : Schick i2 with Hydro magic feature. Mfg 1954-57, mild to tame mid range. With a new blade the razor performs well over the years. well built to last generations. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
    Blade : Personna injector (5) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity.
    Soap : Yaqi "Musketeer Rapier" very addictive scent with excellent lather qualities.
    Brush : Yaqi "Sagrada Familia" 22mm 2band badger. Excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. Handle is small with a very nice knot.
    Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
    Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
    Post shave : Yaqi Musketeer Rapier splash + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
    Results : Dial 8.5.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=[​IMG] Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Schick i2 with Hydro-magic with a old Personna injector blade.(could not find my Personna injector magazine so picture is slightly misleading!)
