Great shave this morning, with one problem that I hope goes away eventually-that being that I had trouble squeezing out the Rise Superfoam in the beginning. That never happened with the other Rise Superfoams I had. I really hope the exit strategy won't be like this throughout the entire can. But once it finally exited the can, all went well. Zero cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. Clean and clear all around. One pass. Nice work from the Clubman Reserve Gents Gin A.S. I was a little awkward with the Halston cologne, but thankfully this isn't a Cologne Den. I'll do better tomorrow. Super Duper Outstanding.

it is getting close to that time of year where I will begin to feature the soap, DG Darkfall, more consistently. To date, this is the only DG soap and splash that I have repurchased after the completion of a full tub. This one will always have a place in one of my dens, most likely the Northern.

As usual, a stellar three pass shave with the MMBT. All the GEM or GEM type razors in the dens perform flawlessly. I am guaranteed a super close shave with rarely any misgivings of the PT Crimson persuasion.

Razor: 1940's Gillette Fat Handle Flat Bottom Tech. (ENG)
